Punjabi & Sikh Welfare Society (Regd.)
PSWS is a non political society of renowned P unjabis formally launched by DIG Shri A.S.Toor on 24 March 2005 at a function held in New Delhi. The Idea of PSWS was conceived by Sardar Shri Surjeet Singh Duggal in association . The thought to create PSWS was to foster socio-economic status of the poor and the down trodden of the society. At the inaugural speech, Shri A.S.Toor said the society should channelize the recourse of the rich Punjabis and Sikhs all over the globe for the welfare of the poorer sections and lauded the idea of setting up this esteemed organization. “Punjabi and Sikh Welfare Society has nothing to do with Religion, Caste, Color and Creed. The main motive is the welfare of the Humanity.”
